Shugaban jami’ar Adeleke, Farfesa Solomon Adebiola, ya bayyana cewa riga-kafin kwayar cutar COVID-19 da masana kimiyya na Najeriya suka kirkiro a halin yanzu tana matakin gwaji na asibiti, Vanguard News ta ruwaito.

Ya kara da cewa allurar, wacce Hukumar Lafiya ta Duniya ta amince da ita kuma ta sami goyon bayan Ma’aikatar Lafiya ta Tarayya ta samu ne daga wani masanin kimiyya daga Jami’ar Adeleke, Dokta Oladipo Kolawole, tare da hadin gwiwar wasu daga wasu jami’o’i biyar na kasar.

Da yake jawabi ga manema labarai a majalisar dattijai ta jami’ar a bikin cikar makarantar shekaru goma, Farfesa Adebola ya ce allurar rigakafin na daya daga cikin biyu daga Afirka kuma ita kadai ce daga Najeriya, wanda Hukumar Lafiya ta Duniya, (WHO) ta amince da ita.

“A yanzu haka, allurar rigakafin tana matakin gwaji na asibiti, inda muke gwaji kan dabbobi kafin ta koma gwaji kan dan adam.

Ya yi karatun diploma a fannin karantar da turanci a jami'ar Ahmadu Bello, ya kuma karantar na tsawon shekaru 7.

A halin yanzu yana zangon karshe na karatun digiri a fannin ilimin fasahar sadarwa a International Open University.
