Jihohin arewa 10 da suka fi yawan yaran da basa zuwa makaranta

Sashen majalisar dinkin duniya mai kula da walwala da tallafa wa yara kanana (UNICEF) ta ce akai yara kana fiye da miliyan 8 da basa halartar makarantar boko a jihohi 10 na arewacin Najeriya da Abuja, birnin tarayya.

Hakan na kunshe ne a cikin wata sanarwa da UNICEF a fitar domin tuna wa da ranar da Majalisar Dinkin Duniya ta ware domin domin yaran nahiyar Afrika.

A sanarwar da Peter Hawkins, wakilin UNICEF a Najeriya, ya fitar ta bayyana cewar jihohin da ke fama da wannan matsala sun hada da Bauchi, Neja, Katsina, Kano, Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi, Gombe, Adamawa da Taraba.

Hawkin ya bayyana cewar yanzu haka kimanin wasu matasa 2,000 sun saka a hannu a kan wata takardar korafi da suka fito da ita domin neman tursasa shugabannin da ke jagorancin jihohin domin su bawa ilimantar da irin wadannan yara muhimmanci.

A cewar Hawkins, yawaitar tashe-tashen hankula a yankin arewa ya hana yara fiye miliyan 10.5 samun ilimi mai nagarta, yayin da rikicin Boko Haram ya yi sanadiyar gurgunta harkar ilimi a yanki arewa maso gaba.

Kungiyar ta UNICEF ta bukaci a kaddamar da wani shiri na gaske da zai inganta makarantu da basu tsaro da kuma bawa iyaye karfin gwuiwa domin su tura yara; maza da mata, zuwa makaranta.
